UNIVERSAL CONNECTING PATTERNS

Examples of Common Unifiers

In our pursuit of unifying everything into a single comprehensive model we revealed a variety of different components and mechanisms built into the fabric of reality that link and connect everything:

*Unifying Spectrums connect every element of broad areas and categories.

*Universal Laws unify everything at every level, including physical principles, life lessons, societal issues and general laws of nature

*Universal Codes are equally pervasive at every level, including physical world math, biological DNA, societal language, and the highest-level code: Pattern Language.

*The interwoven tapestry of history with its multiple levels, scales, scope and depth, as well as recurring cycle in history and unifying repeated themes.

*Life itself is a great unifier, present in everything to varying degrees. All organic life is connected to every other life form in a comprehensive interrelated super-ecosphere where each and every organism is unified and connected by an unbroken ancient chain of DNA.

*The physical infrastructure of the universe likewise has multiple unified components, including matter-energy, space-time, magnetic-electric, elegant particle unities.

The interconnectedness of everything produces universal recurring patterns and templates, along with a wide variety of spectrums, scales, hierarchies, holons and networks that link anything and everything.

SYMMETRY is an omnipresent unifier manifesting as sameness, wholeness, self-similarity and synchronization. The universe exhibits ubiquitous supersymmetry, revealed in the residue of interconnectedness with patterns of harmony and proportion where parts and components look alike, balance out and mirror each other. Symmetry is embedded unity built into the universe, leaving its fingerprint everywhere we look.

Nature’s bountiful organic forms exude this quality through a wide variety of plants, animals, and miscellaneous creatures possessing radial, bilateral and spherical symmetry, expressed as living geometry. Mathematic ratios and numeric proportions are likewise embedded everywhere in nature; at all levels, all niches and throughout every domain.

Temporal Symmetry is present everywhere as well, conveyed in recurring cycles, waves, rhythmic change and repeating themes. Music is geometry in time, mirroring the same divine balance and harmony of symmetrical shapes and proportional relationships, captured mathematically in Pythagorean octaves. It’s the very same essence present in literary prose, comedic timing, poetry rhymes, and a captivating passionate speech. History expresses these qualities as well, moving in rhythmic cycles of its own, repeating universal themes and collective life lessons.

Symmetry is just a fancy word for sameness. It’s present in every math equation that contains an equal sign. It’s revealed in physics’ unities, chemistry’s Periodic Table, biology’s Tree of Life, and cosmology’s Holographic Universe. It’s implied in universal themes of religion, mythology and pseudo-sciences, through similar symbols and rituals, subconscious meanings, and divine insights translated into human relevance. But we need only look at ourselves to see evidence of ubiquitous symmetry and the harmonious connection between man and everything within, above and beyond: a microcosmic mirror of the cosmos itself.

The signature of symmetry can be seen in manifestations of self-similarity. It surfaces as universal constants, harmonic motion, invariants, crystalline alignment, love, vibration, exponents (powers of 10), universal essences, resonance and fractal patterns. Self-similarity in its purest form is a circle; the geometric shape of unity along with its higher form - the sphere.

MATHEMATICS is a fundamental connector of all things, equating and relating practically every phenomenon to in physical reality. Math applies to nature, man and virtually everything in the world, capturing both sameness and degrees of difference wherever they appear. It even connects dimensional differences that are transcendent via 90 degree angles, conveying irrational relationships between physical and non-physical realms: infinites, irrational numbers (PI, Square root of 2, etc.) It likewise captures unities of self-similarity (X squared, X inverse, ratios, logarithms, etc.)

LAWS AND CODES are equally important connectors of things, linking all through universal principles, associations and correlations. Nothing, whether physical object or living being, can escape the laws of nature. The same applies to subtle regulating forces in human relationships and society as a whole. Veiled rules and codes direct how the world works, maintaining the system and everyone subject to it; no one is exempt. Society itself is subject to nature, connected to the ecosphere, ecology webs, weather and climate, geological disturbances and extraterrestrial impacts. The earth itself collectively resembles a giant single living superorganism (Gaia), connecting every living sup-part in a vast interrelated, interacting network of coevolving life.

PHYSICS unites everything at the most fundamental level. The theory of relativity connects energy, matter, space and time. Energy cannot be created or destroyed, only transformed. Matter is just a structured form of energy. Everything is connected as patterns of the same energy, expressed in different temporary forms. Objects consisting of matter produce gravitational fields that warp space. Objects traveling through space must follow that warped path. Each influences the other in perfect complementary symmetry. All matter and all space are infinitely connected. Matter and energy, space and time, are simply two sides of one coin. Since all matter/energy and space/time are connected, everything must be physically connected.

UNIVERSAL PATTERNS

UNIVERSAL PATTERNS appear and reappear everywhere as recurring forms and templates permeating the entire landscape. Most of these ubiquitous patterns are scale invariant, meaning they’re similar at every level, like a fractal image. They’re ordered by universal principles, laws and processes that influence and shape everything in physical reality. We see it in basic geometry where a simple dot joins other dots to become lines, multiple lines, polygons and 3 dimensional forms. Some are more fundamental than others, including the circle/sphere, spiral/helix, radial/spokes, and other derivative patterns such as particle-cell-seed-nest-womb/tomb, or cylindric forms including channels, tunnels, tubes, conduits, etc. Nature draws from these patterns and incorporates them within life’s forms as organs, embryos, skeletons, and entire living systems. Those organisms copy other universal forms like the branching pattern of arteries, veins, lungs, nerves, etc. mirroring nature’s design expressed in leaves, lightening, tributaries, roots and tree branches. Other borrowed forms include membranes-shells-scales-bark-sheath-skin-clothes, etc. Man-made objects and advanced constructions all incorporate these same fundamental patterns, despite each designer believing they are creating new forms when in reality they are simply borrowing and recycling from age old original universal templates.

PROCESS PATTERNS are as ubiquitous as their geometric counterparts, but they’re form has an abstract temporal nature. Change is serpentine; a fluid quality progressing through time in a variety of modes ensuring nothing ever quite stays the same. Reality is a process of periods and events subject to transitions, phases, increments, thresholds, sequences, spurts, emergence, accelerations, growth and decline, transformation, reversals, and changing tempos. These patterns are fundamentally abstract, difficult to track in the limited here and now. They become more apparent as time passes, providing context in hindsight gained after the fact. Process patterns are the essence of life; ongoing and interconnected everywhere.

RELATIONSHIP PATTERNS include both spatial and temporal dimensions, establishing meaning and context to anything and everything. They relate things through a multitude of attributes, including proximity, association, divergence, position, affinity, order, tension, alignment, differences, linkage, attraction, correlation, harmony and discord, stability and chaos. Everything is related to everything else in unique ways where the type of relationship involved is more important than the thing itself. You by yourself are nothing without comparison to everything around you in both space and time. Parts derive their meaning from differences between each level and point on a scale.

What we perceive a s solid forms are merely resonant patterns. All material matter is nothing but vibrating fields held together by atomic forces. Atoms themselves are more like wave clouds of motion than stable particles. Everything we touch, feel, sense and see is nothing but millions of vibrating parts balanced in equilibrium, appearing as stable structure from the outside. All things are temporary resonance patterns, including you, held together by the same proportional counterforces that keep wholes from breaking down into smaller parts. A living being is maintained in a delicate balance between static and dynamic forces operating in the sweet spot that allows minor changes without major disruptions; a teeter toter range that adjusts to external demands without going too far from the ground state. Everywhere around us we see a multitude of things and structures that are either in a state of balance resonance or are transforming into other forms; post resonant state.

UNIVERSAL ARCHETYPAL THEMES

Human nature doesn’t change as demonstrated by so many recurring behaviors, activities and events over time. History continually repeats itself; same stuff, different names and places. Greek athletic competitions and Roman gladiator spectacles have been replaced by modern mega-sports arenas. Ancient spear and shield fighting carries on to this day, only with modern missiles and steel tanks. Public square rhetoric and debate is now seen on television talk shows or heard on audio podcasts. Yesterday’s freakshow is today’s reality TV. The platform, tools and venues may have changed but it’s still essentially the same stuff. Collective human behavior patterns produce recurring themes, events and repetitive dramas.

UNIVERSAL TEMPLATES

The built-in interconnectedness of everything is expressed in universal laws, codes, and recurring relational patterns. Common original forms generate a multitude of extending patterns in diverse, seemingly unrelated areas. These recurring patterns are produced by templates imbedded within the infrastructure of physical reality; products of dual realm dynamics where non-physical original forms emerge into universal mechanisms, processes and relational patterns that influence the way things manifest everywhere. They’re revealed in mathematics, science, arts and metaphysics, reinforcing the omnipresent connectedness in all things everywhere we look

TEMPLATES OF GEOMETRIC PATTERN

a LINE symbolizes first level unity; oneness. It represents direction, action, movement, force, and produces polarity, transitioning into twoness; the illusion of separation. A line reflects unity of motion as either a constant speed or constant acceleration. A curved line transcends the limits of a straight line and represents increasing acceleration. Linear equations are easy to solve with fixed ratios between parts and the whole. Non-linear equations involve variable change and complexity.

a CIRCLE is the fundamental pattern of higher-level unity and wholeness, derived from the original source of everything. Rotating around the circle expresses action here and now, while the center is the still, non-moving original source. A moving circle represents the quantum creative act, depicted as a sinewave. It’s a universal cycle of growth, peak, decay and return.

a CIRCLE contains every polygon within it; a geometric holon and perfect symbol of unity and wholeness. Every shape, form and partial segment in between are with a circle. Primary shapes are resonant forms; nodal point between an infinite variety of possible shapes and partial fragments.

a Circle represents unity as a complete whole. “Universe” in Latin means 1 turn (a completed circle). Plato described it as the whole of wholes. After unity (1) comes duality (2). This is represented by a simple line, which separates two points. When a third point emerges apart from the line, we now have a pattern; (3). So, from unity to duality we get trinity, meaning Tri-unity, or 3 as one. The trinity pattern is a new level of wholeness; a cycle of completion with beginning, middle, end (birth-life-death, and past-present-future).

a Circle is the universal relational pattern of integrated wholeness and duality. Sun, moon, planets, orbits, particles; all circles or SPHERES (3D Circle). Circles are cycles representing beginning, ending and beginning again; life, death and rebirth. Circles are both eternal and ever present

SPIRALS represent cyclical progress, moving forward and higher, attaining new beginnings that mirror the original starting point; a ubiquitous pattern found everywhere: shell, galaxy, sunflower, staircase, horns, tornado, DNA, whirlpool, pinecone, snakeskin, cabbage, fingerprints, vine tendrils, hair whorls, etc. Spiral polarity reflects the expansion-contraction template imbedded in all living processes where growth is followed by decline. It’s the centripetal-centrifugal balance expressed in the ongoing rebalancing of forces in nature that build temporary structures which over time crumble and disintegrate. It mirrors the charge and discharge process of life; a perpetual cycle of beginnings and ending like the start and end of a song or the first breath and final exhale experienced by everyone of us temporary living beings.

MICROCOSMS are bountiful throughout the universe. Man is the prime example; mirroring earth’s water ratio, chemical components, Vitruvian body ratios, mental attributes, operating as a self-sustaining system. A human body is a machine, vehicle, process center and super system of systems, encased in a skin membrane creating the illusion of separation between the mini universe within and the macro universe without. As Protagoras observed thousands of years ago “Man is the measure of all things”. Man is both IN the world and collectively IS the world. Man is a mini universe while connected to everything else in the universe and consciously becomes the center of the universe. Everything in the universe in in us; component parts, processes, dynamics, symmetry, integrated and interconnected within and without, coevolving with everything around us. We’re a living, breathing time capsule, carrying with us ties to a 14-billion-year-old universe. We’re right in the middle of it all; an integrated node in a comprehensive network, a central hub connected to everything, everywhere, everywhen.
